Adamuz is a town located in the Sierra Morena, easily accessible and around 20 minutes from the city of CÓRDOBA. Adamuz is surrounded by amazing landscapes perfect for hiking and other activities like photography, ornithology mycology, fishing, hunting, cycling, climbing, and also –a new activity- stargazing (thanks to the inclusion of Sierra Morena on the declaration of UNESCO as Startlight Reserve.)

You can also enjoy a walk around its cultural and historical heritage.

Moreover, because of its proximity to Córdoba, you can walk around the Jewish quarter and visit the many monuments and museums such as: the Mezquita-Catedral, Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, Torre de la Calahorra, Puente Romano, Plaza del Potro, Templo Romano, Palacio de la Merced, Basílica de San Pedro, Sinagoga, Medina Azahara, etc.

Path characteristics: Length: 10, 7 km. Approximate duration: 2, 5 hours. Walk: linear. Recommended time: During the whole year. Advices: Carry your camera and suitable clothes and shoes. Depending on the season: Summer: amphibian observation at permanent puddles, insects observation; also fruit and vegetable labors. Autumn: vegetation turning colors observation. Winter: torrents of water, herpetofauna, over-wintering birds observation. Spring: insects, listening to birds singing, enjoying natural smells and colors.

Lenght: 17 km.       Approximate duration: 5 hours.           Difficulty: medium.          Recommended time: During the whole year.    Advices: Carry your camera and suitable clothes and shoes.         Depending on the season:  Summer: amphibian observation at permanent puddles, listening to insects singing and olive grove labors.   Autumn: vegetation turning colors observation.  Winter: torrents of water, herpetofauna, over-wintering birds observation, olives recollection.  Spring: insects observation, listening to birds singing, enjoying natural smells and colors.
